Our Walls Talk

Our Walls Talk group exhibition features the current Arts Warehouse Resident Artists as well as recent program alumni and Pop-Up artists. The annual exhibition is a showcase of some of what the studio artists have been working on, as well as a time to celebrate their artistic practice.

This year the artists were encouraged to consider the walls and the gallery space an extension or an enhancement of their work. Color, hand-drawn sketches, and hanging pieces will be found, alternatives to the usual gallery white.  Our Walls Talk welcomed play and experimentation as the artists prepared for the exhibition. The collection of works together in the group show creates a unique and diverse body of work.

When visiting the 2024 Resident Artist Show, viewers have the opportunity to walk through the Resident Artist Studio hallways and see where each artist creates. This is a special detail of the format of this exhibition, providing a connection to the artists’ processes and the work on view.
