making a charitable donation to support artists on local projects that benefit and impact our community. The Florida "State of the Arts" License plate was introduced in 1994 by Florida State Legislature
to raise funds for programming that benefits local arts and cultural projects across Florida.
How much does it cost?
At license plate renewal time, the plate costs $32 over the cost of your regular renewal rate. To purchase any other time, the cost is merely $32.
Where does the money go?
$20 of the $32 the plate costs is tax deductible and gets returned back to Palm Beach County to be awarded to Artists In Residency Grantees in Palm Beach County
